My 1958 Chevy (probably a Chevrolet Delray), Between Oakland and Berkeley, California about 1966

There is an interesting and sort of humorous tiny story involved in me trying to make sure I had Delray spelled correctly. I felt that it could have been Delray, Delrey, Del Ray, Del Rey, DelRay or DelRey. In trying to find It I thought I would try a search for Chevrolet Car Club of America. One of the top 3 results, was, believe it or not, "boar testicles". Moving right along, I shortened my search name to Chevrolet Car Club and then Chevy Car Club. Still no luck. I decided to try the Flickr Group "Poor Man’s Impala."
Somewhere along the line, I decided to search all of a Flickr automotive related group for "Del" thinking any more letters than that might not find anything but the exact spelling, which of course, I didn’t know. I got every word on the page that said "Model" because it had "Del" in it. You have no idea how many times a car group says "model" in the tags until you try this. I am on dial-up, I know, I know, still in the dinosaur age. I tried looking at pictures of Chevy cars to read the insignia/nameplate, and either couldn’t read them or they would load more slowly than a snail at a roadblock.
I though one car club would probably have the correct spelling, but when I looked and saw they had spelled their Association as Accociation, I quit looking there.
Finally I found someone who had posted the insignia/nameplate close up, and it is "Delray."
